The tab starts ½” from the left edge and finishes ½” before the right edge. The complete tab is ½” in depth - if you go beyond the tab depth,  it will appear on the body of the tab sheet.

Design the whole bank on one piece of artwork - the printer will print the whole bank at once - more cost effective than plate changes.
